This here was a piece I did based on a news article about a tax in Germany, forcing street workers to purchase a "ticket" in order to be permitted to carry out their business on the street in designated areas, with security included.

So here is an "impromptu" Illustration I had to create using the word, Xanthochroid, which means, a person with fair hair and light complexion, that sounds like such an evil word but I had to make a sketch and final in 3 hours, here is the end result. A little stagnant but not too shabby.

First Piece of the Semester!

I'm taking a fine arts class called Imaging from Movies, and this year I want to keep a focus on a horror/macabre theme for my work so that I can start to prepare for Senior thesis next year. Here are some images inspired from the classic horror movie Jaws, I was focusing on trying to stay away from common imagery of the shark itself, and instead focus on the images and scenery of Amity, it's kind of a creepy beach at night if you ask me. I did this with charcoal, which I hate. Charcoal is a weird medium, I think my next piece will be charcoal pencil... I like being controlling when it comes to my mediums....
