Under Painting, Mustang Portrait

Here it tis, me and my pride and joy, well at least not for another 3 years. I getting much better at this Wacom Tablet, I still fail at flat color though, but I prefer the more dimensional, depth consisting, realistic colors. After Jeremy Enecio's did his demoin class a few weeks ago, he really helped me to establish my own style and method built off his own.

Thumb Nails for Digital Painting

Here's some recently done thumb nails sketches for a digital painting portrait I'm creating. It's basically a homage to my love for cars, especially Mustangs. I actually have the underpainting for the final piece to post for you to look at the progress. Enjoy!

This is a VERY old series, but it's got potential to be continued...

This here is a series of Famous Monsters as Pin Up Models I did a year ago that I'm still quite intrigued by, I think over the summer I may rework the compositions into digital works but also add more to the series with my newly acquired skills from MICA.

Scholarship Portfolio: 4 Works for More MICA Scholarships

This work is a small collection I am submitting for more scholarships from MICA, each piece is acrylic paint on gessoed paper, and each still life has an interaction between objects or environment in affect in the composition. I never knew still lives could be so fun! Some of these can even depict a narrative.

The Smell of a New Sketchbook....

So I purchased a brand new sketchbook, quite small in size, this will be my sketch book for portraits and mainly observational work, but I also got another just for sketching ideas, (I tend to be a bit of a messy thumbnail sketcher.) Here are snap shots of my new and observational sketchbook.
